HUMILITY


Be like a bamboo, the higher it grows the deeper it bows. 

Humility is the quality of having a modest or low view of one's importance. Humility is being diffident and meek. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Humility makes us real, pride makes us artificial. 

Humility is the greatest characteristics of all saints. Humility before God and man. "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Mt 23:12). Always humble yourself for nobody knows tommorow. Humility makes us slow to anger and quick to understand. 

Humility is not weakness. Be humble and bold, have a high self esteem. Be able to stand up for your achievements, but do not blow your trumpet. You might think that you have made it, that no one dare challenges you, but you seem to forget that no condition is permanent. 

Humility strengthens love. Do remember that too much humility is pride.
