Breaking Barriers

Your present situation doesn't determine your destination.  Situation is a set of circumstances in which one finds oneself. Situation is a present condition of a person. No situation is permanent; for change is constant.  Situation can be good or bad, depending on how you are viewing it. It can be good for you and bad for me, for one man's blessing is another man's curse.  Situation is something that shouldn't be a barrier to your dreams, no matter how bad it might be. Never let a bad situation bring out the worst in you.  No matter how bad bad your situation is, there is always hope in the future, if you have faith. Stay positive and be the person that God has created you to be.  Always thank God for your present situation, because they are people out there who are in worst situations than yourself. 

           If you risk nothing, you risk                                       everything.  Risk is a possible, usually negative outcome. A situation involving exposure to danger. It is when you are willing to sacrifice something, in other to obtain a positive result. Take Risk if you win you will be happy, if you loose you will be wise. Do not always play safe else you will die wondering. Great things never came from comfort zones. Life is all about taking risks. If you never take a risk, you will never achieve your dream. Do not be afraid of the outcome, just risk it. Risks determines progress. Life is full of risks anyway; why not take them?

A quest is a journey made in search of something. Life is a quest. It presents us with different adventures everyday. The greatest quest in life is to reach one's potential. A quest is a long and difficult effort to find something or do something. A quest is not an easy task. It takes a lot of courage and self confidence to emerge victorious. A quest is based on the pursuit of our goals. Our quest in life matters alot. Many people are journeying on a wrong path because they are yet to discover their quest in life. Today's preparation determines tommorows achievement.  Preparation is the act of getting ready. Preparation is the key to success, before anything else. Preparation equals to good result, never bad results. Preparation gives us confidence. Success is where preparation and opportunity meets. By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail. Preparation reduces anxiety. Preparation yields the expected result. Abraham Lincoln said "Give me six hours to chop a tree, I'll spend the first four hours sharpening my axe." Preparation is an essential thing to do in all aspect of our lives. We should be prepared to face every situation of our lives. Preparation boost our self esteem. Proper preparation prevents poor performance.

The greater the obstacle the more glory in overcoming it. Obstacles are things that impedes, something that stand in the way of your success. Obstacles are put in your way to see if what you really want is worth fighting for. Obstacles are what we encounter in our everyday life. Most times we overcome them, most times we don't. Obstacles are barriers between us and our goal. Obstacles melt away when we open up our mind to boldly walk through them. Obstacles are inevitable. We should not lament over the obstacle we come across, but we should conquer it. Obstacles often don't block the path, they are the path. Obstacles are designed to make us stronger, only the weak avoid them. Face your obstacle and make it a thing of the past. A path without obstacles often lead to nowhere. An expert in anything was once a novice.  A novice is someone who is a beginner in something. Someone who is not familiar or very experienced in a particular course. A man begins every stage of his life as a novice. A novice behaves with propriety. He tries to do everything right. Most people are afraid of being a novice, forgetting that no one was born a professional. Great men and women began from somewhere. They were once a novice. A novice is someone who is willing to achieve greatness. He should be humble and bold. He should accept his weaknesses and learn from his mistakes. A novice should endure and persevere challenges. He should have it in mind that he cannot be a novice forever. A novice is not a learner.

Mindset is everything.  Mindset is a way of thinking .  Mindset determines actions.  Mindset influences behavior.  Mindset affects beliefs  Have a positive mindset, accept your challenges with good faith.

Laziness is the mother of all bad habits.  Laziness is a declination to activity or exertion despite having the ability. Laziness has no benefit. Everyone has the ability to achieve greatness, but laziness has being a constant barrier. Laziness handicaps ambition. We have a an idealistic ambition that can be obtained, but we don't want to work towards it. Success is not easy and it's certainly not for the lazy ones. Work hard and give no excuses to be lazy. Laziness is addictive. The moment we start being lazy, it takes over us. We start procrastinating and giving excuses not to work. The future depends on what you do NOW , not what you will do later. Laziness encourages bad habits like prostitution and stealing, it will lead you astray. Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before getting tired.Benjamin Franklin said " Laziness travels so slowly that poverty soon overtakes it ". There is no food for a lazy man. (Gen 3:19)

KNOWLEDGE IS KEY   Knowledge is awareness or familiarity gained by education, fact, situation or experience. Knowledge has a beginning but no end. Knowledge is the life of the mind and the food of our thoughts. Knowledge is is power. Always seek for knowledge. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. Knowledge has no value unless you practice it. Knowledge is treasure, but practice is the key to it. Knowledge doesn't fail, it doesn't expire. Always apply knowledge anywhere you find yourself. Knowledge is what makes you unique, it defines you. Follow knowledge and see where it leads you. Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance.

JESUS CHRIST IS WAITING FOR YOU  Jesus Christ is the only option. He is the way, the light and the truth (Jn 14:6). He did the impossible. He  broke the law of Biology; He was born of a virgin (Lk 1:34-35). He broke the law of Physics; He walked on the sea (Jn 6:19). He broke the law of Chemistry; He turned water into wine. (Jn 2:9). He broke the law of Economics; He fed Over 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish (Jn6:1-14). He broke the law of Nature; He rose from the dead after 3 days ( Mk 15,16). Jesus Christ is the only son of God. He left his throne in heaven, came down to earth. He was incarnated by the Holy Spirit and became man. He preached in the temples, healed the sick, casted out demons and performed all kinds of miracles. Jesus Christ loves us. He suffered for us. He was humiliated, crowned with thorns, spitted upon, smitten with a reed and buffeted. He did not give up, He endured till death at the cross. He was crucified for our sake. ...

" where your treasure is there your heart will be also" Mt 6:21 Interest is the feeling of wanting to know or learn about something or someone. Interest should be one of the first things to consider before starting a quest. Interest is pleasure. No one will have interest on something that doesn't please him. Interest spices up your morale. The more your interest the more motivated you become. Interest is a quality that cannot be replaced. Can someone who has no interest in football, decides on becoming a footballer? He has to first develop interest in the game of football, so that he can be a successful footballer. Interest links up to every career. Develop an interest in whatever you do, no matter how boring and stressful it seems, you will eventually fall in love with it. Interest determines progress. Always follow your heart but carry your brain along.

Be like a bamboo, the higher it grows the deeper it bows.  Humility is the quality of having a modest or low view of one's importance. Humility is being diffident and meek. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Humility makes us real, pride makes us artificial.  Humility is the greatest characteristics of all saints. Humility before God and man. "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Mt 23:12). Always humble yourself for nobody knows tommorow. Humility makes us slow to anger and quick to understand.  Humility is not weakness. Be humble and bold, have a high self esteem. Be able to stand up for your achievements, but do not blow your trumpet. You might think that you have made it, that no one dare challenges you, but you seem to forget that no condition is permanent.  Humility strengthens love. Do remember that too much humility is pride. 

Procrastination is the assassination of your destination.  A journey to a thousand miles begins with one step. Always start NOW!!!  Do not say I will do it later, because delay is dangerous. An expert was once a beginner. Nobody was born a professional. They professionals got started, they began from somewhere and they achieved their goals. Give it a trial. Place little focus on the difficulties, think more about the benefits. Just start from somewhere and you will conquer. The earlier the better.

Failure is the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective. It may be viewed as the opposite of success. Failure is a temporary detour and not a dead end. Failure comes before success even in the dictionary. Have it in mind that your failures determine your success. Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. We should always learn something from our failures. Failure gives you the courage to try again. Thomas Edison said "I haven't failed, but have found 1,000 ways that didn't work". Failure is a proof that you have tried. Keep trying, accept your failures with an open mind. Failure is something that everyone must face, in one way or the other. Most successful and influential people owe their success story to their failures. Endurance is the ability to carry on despite obstacles and hardship that comes your way. Endurance means to suffer patiently, to tolerate difficulties. Endurance is a big step to greatness. Endure the pains, frustrations, difficulties and so many more unpleasant situations and you will achieve your desired goal. Endurance is no longer common in the world of today, everyone wants it the easy way. We give up more than we endure, which should not be so. Remember that difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations, for nothing good comes so easy, you have to endure it to the end. Keep pushing until you get there. Endurance is patience concentrated. For what shall it profit a man to give up on something that cost him a lot of pain and sacrifice but gained nothing afterwards. Keep enduring, for the struggle you are in today develops the strength you need for tommorow. Life begins at the end of our comfort zones. Endurance never fails.
